The Mini Doc about the events series of the MOVIMENTOS platform at the 18th Oiti Festival highlights a unique journey. From Ypati and Artland”Xwra”, each evening, participants “traveled” to a different Mediterranean country, living a unique experience through music and imagery. Movimentos created a bridge of cultures, from Spain and Tunisia to Southern Italy and Greece, following a historical path that began in ancient times and continues today, with the continuous movement of people and ideas. Participants had the opportunity to camp at the “Chora” Art Space, creating an environment of coexistence and interaction that made the experience even more complete.

The festival hosted amazing musical groups and artists such as the Hola Flamenco Festival and Yota Baron, who collaborated with the Polyphonic Ensemble of Epirus, the Wandering Museum of Cultures by Pep Beltran Ramirez from Valencia, Spain, the Matzounia music group that loves to play in the middle of the dance, the “Banda Corapi” from Southern Italy with Mico Corapi and Gabriele Trimboli, who come from Gioiosa in Ionian and Siderno, cities on the Gelsomini coast, and Vittoria Agliozzo from Sicily, Tunisian singer Lamia Bendioui, Cretan storyteller Georgia Kallergi, the rock-traditional band Koupes, and the Fecha – Athens Spanish-Speaking Film Festival with screenings of Spanish-language films, in an attempt to deepen the diverse cultural heritage of the Mediterranean.
